Both Virgin Australia and Jetstar fly daily to Denpasar, Bali from Brisbane International and multiple flights per week from Gold Coast International Airport.
Flight times vary slightly however typically the flight to Bali is approx 6-6.5 hours and the return flight home is approx 5.45-6 hours.
Hint: If you are Gold Coast based, Virgin has just introduced direct flights to Bali with great flight times (to avoid redeye flight home) on Saturdays for the time being. -
This is totally up to you, some guests will be making a holiday of it, some are stopping by on their way to or from other destinations and other guests are coming to Bali for 5-7 days.

We love your little ones, but all of our wedding events are child-free so that the grown-ups can let their hair down and celebrate with us. We completely understand that many of you may be making this a family holiday, so we’re happy to share trusted nanny recommendations.
For extra peace of mind, we’ll also have nanny services available on the day and night of the wedding at one of the onsite villas. That way, you can relax and enjoy every moment knowing the kids are well cared for in your close proximity. Please get in contact and let us know if you require a nanny. We also recommend you have a look at Bali Baby Hire, a baby equipment hire company you may find useful. Please contact us to make any reservations or for any information visit www.balibabyhire.com

We’ve thoughtfully curated our guest list to reflect the people who have been part of our journey together. With this in mind, invitations are issued only to the guests listed by name and unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate any requests for additional plus ones. We very much appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Travelling to and from Bali requirements (please ensure you check the requirements as this could change depending on your passport):
This information helps streamline your travel experience and we highly recommend you apply for your Visa and Customs Declaration prior to your arrival in Bali
Here is the most up to date information on what is required for your trip to Bali:
• Passport with 6 months validity from date of return to your home country
• A Visa is required for most Passport holders, this can be obtained online via https://molina.imigrasi.go.id/ prior to travel (or on arrival at the airport if you are not able to apply online ).
For your E Visa Visa Upon Arrival Please select the option B1 Tourism Visa on arrival. Cost is 500,000 IDR.
For passport holders that do not require a Visa, you are still required to apply for a Visa exemption https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/web/application_bvk
• The Bali Provincial Government applied a new tourist levy of IDR 150,000 per person to foreign tourists entering Bali. The tourist levy is separate from the e-Visa on Arrival or the Visa on Arrival. Cashless payments can be made online prior to travel or on arrival at designated payment counters at Bali's airport and seaport.
See the Bali Provincial Government's official website https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id/home for further information.• Your Customs declaration form must be completed online prior to travel, available within 3 days of travel https://ecd.beacukai.go.id/
• International Vaccination certificate is recommended but not a requirement
Please note you can still obtain your Visa upon arrival however we highly recommend this is done prior to your arrival. Bali has Smart gates for those with a current VOA they applied for online to make your arrivals journey much easier.

Due to the ever changing nature of the world events we STRONGLY SUGGEST you have travel insurance or flexible fares to cover you against and unforeseen cancellations or date changes.
You need to have unlimited medical cover, we recommend NIB the comprehensive travel insurance option. -
Here’s a list of our top tips below:
Don’t drink tap water - bottled only.
Brush your teeth with bottled water.
Stick to the more upscale restaurants and bars as they tend to uphold higher hygiene practices.
Venues and restaurants across Bali use filtered spring water for their ice that is imported, so it’s OK to drink. However, if you want to be ultra cautious, you could avoid it.
Probiotics and vitamin supplements during your trip can really assist your immune system.

The Bali airport is a busy and at times chaotic place with many operators spruiking transport to visitors.
We recommend pre-arranging your arrival transport. Often your hotel will have this service available for you to book directly through them. Your hotel may even offer this as a complimentary service. -
Taxis: The best taxi company by far is Blue Bird Taxi, which uses blue vehicles with a light on the roof bearing a stylised bluebird. Drivers speak reasonable English and use the meter at all times.
Watch out for fakes – there are many. Look for 'Blue Bird' over the windscreen and the phone number. Always refuse the transport if the driver refuses to use to meter as they will often sting you for double the going rate.Hotel drivers: Your hotel may offer private drivers which you can often book for the whole day, or simply for transfers to/from a particular location. You can enquire about this at your hotel lobby.
Scooter: You can hire a scooter and there are many places that you can do this. Depending on your location, your hotel reception may be able to make a recommendation. It’s always a good idea to make sure your travel insurance covers you for the use of a scooter and that you have the correct international licenses to operate a scooter or motorcycle. You MUST wear a helmet at ALL times and insurance will not cover you if you are not wearing a helmet.

Currency: Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). You can exchange your foreign currency into Indonesian Rupiah once you get to Bali.
This will give you a good idea of how much each note is worth:
10,000 Rupiah (Approximately $1.00 AUD) – Purple
20,000 Rupiah (Approximately $2.00 AUD) – Green
50,000 Rupiah (Approximately $5.00 AUD) – Blue
100,000 Rupiah (Approximately $10.00 AUD) – Pink
Money changing: Money changers in Bali are big tourist traps and travellers regularly get ripped off. Always double check the money you've been given and use your own calculator to check rate. ONLY use a money changer with the letters "PT" on their shop. This means it is a government registered business in Bali and uses official rates. Credit Cards are widely accepted in most shops and hotels, but for markets, cash is the only form of payment. You can make withdrawals from ATM’s which can be found on every corner and in Circle K shops and Mini Marts.
An international travel card like WISE is also a very convenient option so you can lock in a great exchange rate prior to travel and avoid credit card fees. -
Shopping in markets and local stores is done using the “barter” system (except for the major shopping malls and department stores and boutiques that are fixed price shops).
The shop keeper will give you a “starting price” and then you barter the price down to something that you both are happy with. As a rule, you can usually expect to pay about half the original asking price. Be sure to think about how much you are happy to pay for an item before entering the discussion, and keep in mind, once you have agreed on a price, you are then expected to purchase the item. -
There is a highly recommended Medical and Emergency Clinic near Kuta called BIMC Hospital, they are open 24 hours and Australian doctors are on hand, call +62 361 3003 911, address Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai 100 X, Kuta 80361.
